For those of you who wonder what all is involved in a Level Two Rehab – here is a look at what I begin with to put the bike back to outstanding riding condition. After fully disassembling the bike, all parts are decreased, de-rusted, cleaned and polished. Wheel hubs are rebuilt with new grease and wheel spikes are trued. Then the bike is reassembled and requested accessories are installed. New tires and tubes make the finishing touch to a quality vintage bike made new again – with appropriate patina!
