I had the opportunity to purchase this gorgeous Radiant Red 1962 Schwinn Jaguar Mark IV this past weekend. It was purchased by the wife of a man who sadly never got to ride it. I was honored to hear her story and the love behind her gift to her husband.
The bike is a stunner. Very original and when I received it there were only a few items missing to make it complete. We swapped out the black wall tires for some whitewalls. We went to the parts room and found a proper headlight. We found the appropriate teardrop “S” rear reflector (needs some additional work). We made some quick adjustments to the three speed shifter and we are riding a classic Schwinn. Gonna keep this one in my personal collection for a while and ride it.
