Today was a special day because we presented Tom B. with his original bike that he received for Christmas in 1967. This bike was a “holy grail” bike back in the day and still is today.
This bike is superb in its originality, with intact original decals on the seat tube, chain guard and top tube. The original saddle and 3” rear round reflector are in top condition. We were able to polish the paint, de-rust the chrome and polish it to a great shine. We salvaged the original tires, including the rear skinny slick. We dis get creative in scoring some Sky Blue vinyl bar wrap from an old set of ten speed handlebars from the HBS Schwinn Bin!
