Had this lime green gem show up in the shop a couple of weeks ago. It was filthy but looked pretty good, fairly original and complete, including the saddle and the bar wrap. The HBS team gave it the resto-mod treatment – cleaned it up, tuned it up, put on an upgraded set of alloy QR wheels and cabled it up. Turned out like old Schwinns always do – Fabulous!!
Need to install a period correct alloy rear rear and it is complete. This one is being added to my personal collection of Schwinn road bikes from the 70’s.
