Today is a very happy day for me and our shop! Thanks to the custom bike manufacturers at STS Bicycles of Rushville, Indiana and the expert bike-builder skills of HBS’s own Chris Bucher – my new touring bike is ready to roll for its first ride on Saturday, April 15! This rolling work of practical art is centered around a 56cm light weight steel frame and fork, 700c x 38 mm Panasonic GravelKing wheels and tires, a Shimano 2×11 Tiagra group set, a 46 mm set of Whiskey shallow drop handlebars wrapped in Brooks leather bar wrap, and a killer set of color matching full wheel fenders. I also installed my favorite “broken in” Brooks B-67 leather touring saddle. Got interest in a custom built bike made in Indiana? Come see us and test ride these amazing American made bicycles – we are your northern Indiana STS retailer. Chris Bucher will be happy to have a robust conversation with you about making an STS bike the “perfect” bike for you.

Gorgeous from every angle

Brooks leather bar wrap with gel pads underneath – super comfortable.
For me the most comfortable saddles are either a Brooks B-17 or a Brooks B-67 (as shown)
Matching color full fenders courtesy of STS (they can custom paint your bike to your specifications). Front and rear mechanical disc brakes and thru axle wheels with Panaracer GravelKing gumwalls. Classic styling and a comfortable ride.
Yes. The bike is painted to match the HBS bike buggy! Thanks STS!
